I started Moments of Life Photography for just that reason-to capture the "Moments of Life". I have always had a passion for keeping memories in the form of photographs, and decided to offer that opportunity to others. My goal is to bring couples, families and individuals fun and unique photos that last a lifetime. I enjoy capturing informal interactions as well as posed photographs.

Being a mom of two small children, I too, have had the experience of waiting in a commercialized photo studio with 40 other people, and crying children waiting for "my turn". By the time "my turn" arrived, one or both of my children were no longer in the mood for a photograph and the battle began. Hair disheveled, hot, tired, children half dressed, and all of us completely ready for a nap, we then ventured out into the crowded waiting room where we had 5 minutes to review all of the proofs on a computer screen and choose all the photographs we needed. I then ended up with a minimal amount of photos of my children in the same pose each time with the same backdrops. I decided by taking my own photographs, I could provide unique indoor and outdoor photos. I like spending individual and one-on-one time with a family or child so that no one feels rushed. I offer a unique experience, in that, I will come to your home to take a family photo in front of your own family Christmas tree, fireplace, or favorite tree in your backyard, where small children feel most comfortable.

I love portrait photography, and I always hope it shows in the proofs provided after your session. I love using natural settings for my photos. Instead of a fall backdrop I prefer going to a park and using the beautiful fall colors already provided for us. I love capturing the romance at weddings, and knowing my customers can look at those photos and remember exactly what they were feeling at that moment.
